This Privacy Policy explains how Farmverse (“we”, “us”) collects, uses, and shares information when you use the Farmverse mobile game and related services (the “Service”).
1. Information we collect
Account information: username, email address, display name, farm name, and password (stored hashed) when you register; or a guest profile tied to a device identifier.
Authentication data: if you sign in with Google on Android, we receive a Firebase ID token and basic profile fields (such as name/email) from Google/Firebase to create or link your Farmverse account.
Gameplay & save data: farm progress, inventory, coins/gems balances, buildings, animals, orders, settings preferences, and similar game state. This may be stored on your device and synced to our servers when cloud sync is enabled.
Device & technical data: a generated device ID for guest/session linking, approximate network metadata (such as IP address) processed by our hosting provider for security and operations, and standard server logs.
Support messages: information you choose to send if you contact support.
2. Information we do not collect
We do not request access to your camera, microphone, contacts, photos, or precise location.
We do not sell your personal information.
We do not use a third-party advertising network (such as AdMob) in the current version. Optional in-game “bonus videos” are first-party content bundled with the app and do not send your data to ad exchanges.
3. How we use information
Create and secure your account, authenticate sessions, and restore cloud saves.
Operate gameplay features, prevent abuse/fraud, and improve reliability.
Provide customer support and comply with legal obligations.
4. How we share information
Service providers: cloud hosting (e.g. Heroku), database hosting, and Google/Firebase for optional Google sign-in on Android.
Legal: if required by law or to protect rights, safety, and the integrity of the Service.
We do not share your data with third-party advertisers for targeted advertising in the current version.
5. Data retention
We keep account and save data while your account is active. If you delete your account in Settings, we deactivate the account, scrub personal identifiers we no longer need, revoke sessions, and remove associated cloud save data, subject to short-term backups and legal retention needs.
6. Your choices
Account deletion: open Settings in Farmverse and choose Delete Account. This permanently removes your access and cloud farm data as described above.
Logout: available in Settings.
Guest play: you may play as a guest; progress is still associated with a server account for that guest session so you can delete it the same way while signed in.
7. Children’s privacy
Farmverse is a general-audience farming game. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 (or the equivalent minimum age in your country) for the purpose of selling data or targeted advertising. If you believe a child has provided personal information, contact us and we will take appropriate steps.
8. Security
We use HTTPS for API traffic, hashed passwords, and access tokens for authenticated requests. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure.
9. International processing
Our servers and providers may process data in the United States or other countries where our service providers operate.
